Stampin’ Up!’s Paper Pumpkin monthly subscription is something I look forward to each and every month. January’s kit, Lovely Lavender, is just so beautiful with all the florals! And I absolutely love the Gorgeous Grape and all the other colors as well. Just beautiful! I could add some coordinating embellishments to this card but I think I’ll leave this one as the kit intended for it to be done. Don’t you just love that peek-a-boo window?!! LOVE IT!

Lovely Lavender Paper Pumpkin Kit
With this kit, I made some of the cards as they were intended and others with sentiments previous PPKits or other stamp sets. Remember that you don’t have to do the cards as they are intended to be made. Use whatever sentiments that suit you and for the intended recipient. I turned the tags into cards using some solid cardstock as well as coordinating product from the Perennial Lavender Suite Collection (Item #162613). I’ll show those in another blog post. Using Alternate Sentiments
Here are a few cards to show you how I used different stamp sets to have alternative sentiments. I used the HELLO sentiment from Layering Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set OR you could use the Heartfelt Hellos Photopolymer Stamp Set. You can EARN that one from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Click HERE to see all the sentiments this FREE set offers! I also used sentiments from Stamped with Love and Cheerful Daises. The Happy Birthday is from the DEC PPKit 2019.
I have to admit that I had already stamped the leafy branch stamp onto the card element before I decided to not use the “with LOVE” elements. So I had to find sentiments that would fit in that lower right corner. I stamped the “with” and used it along with the die cut “love” on alternate cards (see below).
If you don’t have any Stampin’ Up! catalogs, you can see all the current catalogs in the right side panel here on my blog. You can purchase or download any current catalog. My current customers automatically receive catalogs.
I used Gorgeous Grape and Crushed Curry cardstock to complete this alternative card using some of the card elements intended to be used with the PPKit. I could even step it up with some coordinating embellishments that are in both the 2023.-2-24 Annual Catalog (p. 140-141) or the January-April Mini Catalog (p. 23).
