Once again, I am pushing it to meet a deadline at Freshly Made Sketches! I really need to get on the ball and get ahead of the game here on my end! LOL! Nothing like procrastinating (I think we are all guilty of this) and then scrambling to get something done in time! Plus I just noticed that I overlooked a TINY detail in the sketch. Can you find it? Serves me right for procrastinating! Oh well . . .
I used the Sheltering Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set (#137163 AC p. 89) for this birthday card. I LOVE this set as it has so many possibilities! My sentiment set is the Petite Pairs Stamp Set (WM #128706 or CM #133155 AC p. 78). I get a lot of use with this particular sentiment stamp set. I used Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, and Mossy Meadow for my inking. I almost forgot to include that I used the Banners Framelits (#132173) for this layout. If you don’t have one, you can always “fussy cut” one. I decided to layer as I think it adds more to the depth of my card. Then I stepped it up by using my Woodgrain Embossing Folder (#127821) on the card base. The ribbon is retired but I really wanted to use this particular ribbon which is 7/16″ Natural Trim Ribbon. I believe my card is simply simple and I like it that way! I hope you like my SWEET CREATION as well! BTW, did you find the detail that I missed?
