I made this “adventurous” birthday card for my son-in-law, Jon, whose birthday was this past February 24th. I was inspired by a sketch (see below) challenge at MOJO Monday’s so I got busy! For some reason I thought I had until this past Monday to upload it onto their site, but NO! I don’t know what I was thinking since they ALWAYS come out with a new challenge on Monday’s!! Duh! This would have been the very first time for me to have participated in a MOJO Monday’s challenge. But no problem, I made a pretty cool birthday card for Jon and he loved it! Check it out!

My supply list will not list the Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper Stack (4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″) as it’s retired. Please check out Stampin’ Up!’s other DSP papers and DSP paper stacks to accomplish this card layout! The Designer Neutrals Collection buttons have been updated with newer style buttons so I have those listed in the supply list. Just remember, you can take this sketch and have fun making your own card! Be sure to check out MOJO Monday’s blogspot and all the participants that upload their own SWEET CREATIONS!
