Y’all know I love my Paper Pumpkin Kits and this one brightens my day! This kit, All the Best, is from December 2023. I host a Creating with Kits! event in my home the first Tuesday of each month. All the Best Paper Pumpkin Kit
These cards turned out so beautiful! If you are a current Paper Pumpkin Subscriber, you can order refills for the December kit! In addition to the main blog post photo, these are the other two Paper Pumpkin designs. My lighting does not do my cards justice. Sad, I know! I absolutely love the Balmy Blue embellishments as they have a pretty etched pattern to them.
Using Alternate Sentiments
Here are a few cards to show you how I used a different stamp set to have alternative sentiments. I used sentiments from the Heartfelt Hellos Photopolymer Stamp Set that I EARNED from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure (or catalog). Click HERE to see all the sentiments this FREE set offers! The beauty of any and all kits, you don’t have to do them exactly as they are intended to be done. The cards with the wreath look are shown in landscape but I turned mine to portrait. I also took two card bases that have the flowers across the bottom and cut them apart, giving me 4 panels. I trimmed them down to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ and adhered them to Basic White and Balmy Blue card bases that are 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. (See above photo) This gave me additional cards! Plus the kit had extra sentiment labels and plenty of embellishments!
I hope I’ve shown how much more you can get from Paper Pumpkin Kits or any kit as far as that goes. Kits can really help beginners to get crafting right from the start while building up crafting supplies! By the way, the All the Best Paper Pumpkin Kit has an acetate box that was included for storing your finished cards and envelopes.
This kit would make a beautiful gift as well! Or gift the kit and let the receiver assemble the cards. Either way, I find that kits offer a lot of value as I have cards on hand at all times ready to be mailed out! I have been known to gift completed card sets for birthdays and Christmas.
