The Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack has really made crafting holiday cards fun and easy, not to mention quick! Hopefully my post will be quick as well. I want to share three cards today that took no time to pull together. Up front, I used retired Cherry Cobbler 3mm embellishments from the Festive Pearls (2023-2024 Annual Catalog) but you could substitute with Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries.
Winter Blessings Card
I just love how this turned out! Take the larger striped card and cut it to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and adhere to a Basic White card base, which is 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ for the fold line. Since I’m attaching a pretty Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/4″ Ribbon, I adhered the reindeer card flat to the card. You don’t want too much thickness so your card will mail without having to use non-machineable stamps. I added a 3mm Cherry Cobbler Festive Pearl to the nose of the reindeer and DONE! So simple but I absolutely love this card!
TIP: My bow has a double tail. I take my ribbon, without cutting it, and wrap it around my Multipurpose Liquid Glue bottle. I make a bow and then I cut it in the middle of the back side, giving me a double tail. Use liquid glue or glue dots to attach the bow. Easy Peasy!
Believe in the Magic Card
Another quick and easy card using Garden Green for my card base, which is cut at 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ for the fold line. Once again, I used the larger card with the stripes and adhered it flat to the card base. Cut it at 5″ x 4″. Notice that the white on each end is equal in width. Be mindful to cut off equal amounts from each end to accomplish this cohesive look. Pop up the “believe in the MAGIC” card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a small white bow using Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack and DONE! Simple yet festive!
Very Merry Card
I used the Very Merry card and cut it down to 5-1/4″ x 4″ and adhered it flat to a Garden Green card base, which is cut at 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″. Attach some embellishments and call it DONE! This card was truly the quickest card!!
