Celebrate Spring PPKit Alternative Cards

February 2026 Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin Kit has been a delightful kit. I love all the soft hues of spring colors for each set of cards. The great thing about Stampin’ Up!’s Paper Pumpkin monthly subscription is that you can make the projects as intended or use your own creativity. I normally like to make one card as intended as well as some alternative cards. It all depends on the kit. Let me share my alternative cards I did for this month’s kit.

Card One Alternatives

I decided to make an alternative card using the Prayers & Promises Photopolymer Stamp Set from the JAN-APR 2026 Mini Catalog (page 69). I liked it so much, I made two of them. Three embellishments were used instead of five as suggested on all three cards as mentioned in my last blog post. The embellishments came in the kit.

Card Two Alternatives

For this set of cards, I made two alternatives in portrait orientation. I used Prayers & Promises Photopolymer Stamp Set from the JAN-APR 2026 Mini Catalog (page 69) for my sympathy card. I adhered the die-cuts under the popped up sentiment label and one on the sentiment label for this one. Best Wishes is from the With You In Mind Photopolymer Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog (page 37). I love these colors for this set of cards, so soft and pretty.

Card Three Alternatives

I had to add embellishments to the two larger die-cut flowers on these baskets to add a bit of bling. I made one card as intended, as I usually do. I changed the sentiments on the other two cards. The Happy Easter sentiment is from the FEB PPKIT 2025. I used the cute bunny from Card One in the kit for my third card and used Welcome Baby sentiment stamp from FEB PPKIT 2024! It’s always nice when you can go back and find stamps from previous Paper Pumpkin kits.
