Stampin’ Up! Days to Remember Stamp Set

Stampin’ Up! Days to Remember Photopolymer Stamp Set is perfect for those special days to be remembered! I wanted to make Tony and Opal (my twin brother and sister-in-law) an anniversary card to celebrate their wedding vows to each other. I’ve used this stamp set once before but for some reason, it gets over over looked! I just checked on this item and its status is in LOW INVENTORY. If you want this item before it’s goes into NOT ORDERABLE status that has a TBD (to be determined) date for when it’ll be available again, I wouldn’t wait too long.

Notice that you have two options for the start days of the week. Choose Sunday to start the week or Monday or simply don’t use it at all. Personally, I like to begin my week with Sunday. Don’t let the calendar dates stamp intimidate you!! It may seem like it would be difficult to use but it’s really simple. Regardless of the month you’ll stamp, the dates needed are the width of the ink pad!

I selected one of the patterned papers from the Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) stack. Look at all these beautiful patterns (above)! This DSP was handcrafted by Stampin’ Up!’s in-house artists and was designed by pressing hand-inked flowers onto the paper, giving it a beautiful textured, artistic effect. The spectrum of colors, botanical designs, and patterns featured in this paper are great for any season and ideal for all-occasion projects to create year round! Click HERE or below in the product table to see ALL the patterns.

I chose this particular patterned paper from the DSP stack of all those beautiful patterns. Don’t you just love those leaves in different colors?! It has Lost Lagoon, Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink with swipes of Basic White that runs through it. You can’t see it in the image above but you can see it in my card (main post photo). The paper behind it is the back side so you can use either side for your project(s).

Notice how the date is circled on the calendar? That is a stamp that you can use to circle the day by stamping it! LOVE IT! This will be a stamp set that I won’t be letting go of even when it retires, which this could be the last catalog it’s in because I think it debuted back in 2021. This stamp set will be perfect for making calendar projects as well!

Putting It All Together

Start off with a Lost Lagoon card base and adhere the patterned paper. Stamp the calendar onto Basic White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black but you can use Lost Lagoon Stamp Pad. November has 30 days so remove the ink from the 31 before stamping. Depending on the month and when the first day starts on the calendar will determine how you’ll ink it with your stamp pad. See instructional images to see how this is done.

I used the corresponding Acrylic Block I for the calendar stamp for instructional purposes; otherwise, I use my stamping tool. I’ll include all the clear blocks needed for the Days to Remember stamps set in the product table.

Once you have your calendar stamped, adhere it to the Lost Lagoon cardstock calendar panel. Pop this up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a fussy cut leaf, which is from a retired stamp set but peruse our current catalogs to see what you might substitute it with. The Holiday Mini has a beautiful Autumn Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set that would work great! It’s on page 44 but I’ll include it in the Product Table. I used Calypso Coral ink pad and stamped onto Calypso Coral cardstock and then ‘fussy cut’ to get my leaf.

I used the left over strip of DSP and adhered it to the inside panel. The Happy Anniversary stamp is retired but you can use whatever you may have in your crafting supplies. There is a Happy Anniversary stamp that would be perfect on p. 76 in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog called Everlasting Beauty Cling Stamp Set. I’ll include it in the Product Table as well.
