It’s been a while since I’ve posted! Shame on me!! But I’m posting today! On a personal note, I’ve been having a few health problems which has landed me in the ER four times in the past four months, including this month (along with an Urgent Care visit). I’m doing okay for now but hoping that someone can fix me at some point! LOL! I still have another procedure to get through and then go from there. Moving on to a much happier topic . . . (BE SURE TO SEE SPECIAL AT BOTTOM OF POST!)
I made the cutest Halloween Card for my “Little Pumpkin”! Theä is my granddaughter who is 2 1/2 years old. She is in Texas and I’m in Illinois! I’m from Texas as well as my entire family of many generations. My husband (who is from Illinois) and I moved to IL on May 12, 2008. We haven’t got to spend a lot of time with Theä since she was born but I’m so thankful for Face Book and FaceTime! I’ll include some pictures of her in her Wonder Woman costume for Halloween. But first let me share my card I made for her. I usually refer to her as my “Little Pumpkin” when I’m talking to her so I just loved how my card turned out.
I also made Halloween Tags for treat bags that my daughter, Tenaya, bought for Halloween goodies. These treat bags were for Theä’s classmates at her school she attends two days a week. These tags were so much fun to make!! I used Jar of Haunts Stamp Set from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog as well as the Jar of Love Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog. I used the large jar from the Jar of Love. There is SO MUCH you can do with these two stamp set including the coordinating framlits!
For the tags I used Pumpkin Pie & Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Markers for Candy Corn in the jar. I also used Pumpkin Pie marker for the “dripping goo”. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals under the front jar with the pumpkin face on it.
Here are pictures that Tenaya sent me after receiving Theä’s Halloween Card & Tags!
My beautiful “Little Pumpkin”! I just LOVE her so much! She is certainly a WONDER!
