My card today is simple but has a bit of WOW to it! I made it for my grand daughter, Theä, whose 11-1/2 years old. Her room is decorated in pink so I used Bubble Bath cardstock for my card base and for the punched sentiment label. Just To Brighten Your Day stamp is from Sharing Loving Crafting Photopolymer Stamp Set and is the focal point of my card so I wanted to make it extra special.

I think using a ruler and whatever color of pen or marker, you could create your own lines on Basic White cardstock. Where there is a will, there’s a way!
Card Details
I used Bubble Bath cardstock for my card base which is 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. My card front panel is the front side of a card base in the before mentioned Paper Pumpkin kit, which has been cut in half and cut down to 4″ x 5-1/4″. Using Multipurpose Glue, I adhered the panel to the card base.
Use VersaMark ink to stamp the sentiment onto Bubble Bath cardstock. Then apply Gold from the Metallics Embossing Powder set and then Heat Emboss to set it. I used my 1-3/4″ Circle Punch to punch the sentiment out and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The last thing I did was to bring out my left over embellishments from previous Paper Pumpkin kits and found Gold sequins in two different sizes. BUT you could use Stampin’ Up!’s Loose Gold Sequins which has 3 different sizes: 4 mm, 5 mm, and 6 mm.
I stamped the inside of my card with sentiments from the Sweet Jar Photopolymer Stamp Set. I chose “love” to stamp in the middle of the stamp that reads “sending a little . . . . your way”. At the last minute I stamped “miss you bunches” in Bubble Bath Classic Ink, which is not in my Product Table. Click HERE for Bubble Bath Classic Ink details. I wish I had stamped “love” in that ink as well, otherwise I used Black Memento ink.
Switch it up by using other colors for the card base. Here I used Lemon Lolly cardstock. Now that’s BRIGHT! LOL! Click HERE for that product.
