Card One with Florals & Tote Bag
What a difference it can make when you split the original card base in half and create alternate cards. I used Pecan Pie and Lost Lagoon cardstock as my card bases. Notice that I forgot to stamp across the card with the Lost Lagoon card base? Regardless, I still like it! I used the back half of each original card base as my inside panel.
NOTE: This Paper Pumpkin kit’s ink spot is Secret Sea. If you subscribe today and then purchase this refill kit, you would have to purchase the ink refill and uninked Stampin’ spots. See Product Table below. The full size ink pad is not available due to a manufacturing problem that couldn’t be solved. The end result of the inked color was not correct. BUT using the refill ink and uninked Stampin’ spots, the end result is spot on. Just thought I’d better share that tid bit.
Here’s a close up of the basket and florals. The card bases has the florals and basket printed onto them already but added the die-cut pieces to give them depth is just beautiful!
Card Two with Florals & Vases
Another beautiful card! Who doesn’t just love flowers? This was a very simple card to do but once again, I had to change things up a bit.
Card Three with Florals & Typewriter
Another beautiful floral card but with a typewriter! The die-cut typewriter that layers over the printed typewriter has a slit in it to place sentiment label into. Add floral die-cut pieces are used as well. Simply beautiful! Here’s two different close ups from two different cards. One of them, I stamped directly onto the card base itself. I used one of the typewriter die-cuts to make an alternate card. See below.
The first close up is from my first try then I decided to continue with adding the “TO SAY. . .” to the rest of my cards. The second closeup, I stamped directly onto the card base and added gold sequins, which were left over from previous Paper Pumpkin kit. I cut the original card base in half and adhered it to a Lost Lagoon card base. I used the back half for the inside panel.
My Alternate Card
This is one of my alternate cards. My card base is Lost Lagoon. I used Basic White cardstock for my front and inside panel. Using the stamp set in this kit, I stamped my florals along with the stamp that has the design going across the card using Lost Lagoon ink. Added the typewriter die-cut, which is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensitionals.
I saw a 12″ x 12″ two page scrapbook layout using this kit and it was BEAUTIFUL! In other words, you can either make the cards as intended, make alternate cards, or any project using your own imagination!
